Frequently Asked Questions:

Answer

Yes, for all live-fire pistol classes, both the firearm and ammunition are provided. Please do not bring firearms or ammunition of any kind to class.

Answer

Yes. Our insurance carrier insists that everyone start with the basic class. We will fine tune your techniques - you may have developed some bad habits over time. Don't be discouraged, the class covers the basic's but quickly gathers speed, and the Instructor will adjust the pacing based on the experience of the students.

Answer

Please scroll through the section entitled "Classes" which will give you information on all of the classes we offer to the general public. Currently, we offer classes on handguns (revolver and semi-automatic). In May 2018 we will begin offering classes on rifle. Classes covering Shotgun and Defensive Pistol are also in the works. Private instruction is also available, please contact us with your inquiries.

Answer

A parent or guardian is required to take the class along with a child under the age of 18. When considering whether yur child is ready to take a firearm course remember that all children mature differently. Ask yourself as a parent if you feel comfortable with your child's ability to handle a loaded gun maturely in a learning environment. If you have any doubts, wait a couple of years. Children are quite often actually easier to train than adults.

Answer

Firearms classes are generally 2 to 4 students. If you would like 1:1 instruction, or would like to schedule a larger or private group class, please contact us with your needs, we will be happy to work with you to schedule your training.

Answer

We offer classes that are open to the general public, and those are co-ed. We also offer classes and 1:1 instruction specifically for women. One of the reasons that we entered into the training business is that our founder noticed how differently women and youth approach learning to shoot than men. We want you to be able to learn shooting skills in a comfortable, relaxed environment without undue stress or competition.

If you would like 1:1 instruction, or would like to schedule a private group class, please contact us with your needs, we will be happy to work with you to schedule your training.

Answer
